Meet our Executive
At Parklands, relationships are at the heart of everything we do.
We believe the strongest school journeys are built on genuine partnership between families and staff - relationships built over time with trust and care, that carry students through even the most challenging seasons.
School life is not always easy, and there are moments of pressure and growth for students and families alike. That is why we warmly encourage every family to stay connected - to know your child's teachers, engage with the school calendar, and reach out whenever questions or concerns arise. You do not need to navigate the journey alone.
It is our sincere hope that Parklands feels like a place of peace, belonging, and genuine community for your family - where your child is known, supported, and inspired to become all that God has created them to be.
May God bless you and your family richly.

I serve as the Business Manager at Parklands Christian College and bring extensive experience in business and financial management across both the education and corporate sectors. As a qualified CPA, I have worked in a range of leadership roles supporting financial stewardship, strategic planning, and operational leadership in Christian schools and large organisations. I have also owned and operated my own audit and accounting practice as well as a body corporate management business, which has given me valuable experience in business leadership and financial governance.
Prior to joining Parklands, I served as Business Manager in three other Christian schools, which has given me a deep understanding of the operational, financial, and governance needs of faith-based education communities.
My management style is warm, personable, and grounded in servant leadership.
I am passionate about supporting the mission of Christian education by ensuring that strong systems and sound financial management help create an environment where students and staff can flourish. I work closely with the College leadership team and Board to support the ongoing growth and sustainability of the College.
My husband and I have three children who have all attended Christian schools, which has given me a deep appreciation for the value of Christ-centred education in shaping young lives. I feel privileged to contribute to a community where faith, learning, and care come together to support the development of every student.

I have the privilege of serving as Head of Senior School, walking alongside students through some of the most formative years of their lives. I believe these years are a season of discovery, growth, and preparation for the exciting future God has set before each young person.
My background includes a Bachelor of Secondary Education, qualifications to deliver Vocational Education, and ongoing leadership development with a focus on building strong relationships and fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. I've been particularly passionate about Vocational Education since helping establish work-ready options at Parklands in 2011, an area close to my heart.
Having pursued my own academic pathway, I hold a deep appreciation for both academic and vocational journeys, believing wholeheartedly that both matter deeply and are worthy of celebration. As a mum to three adult sons, I have been shaped both personally and professionally by my own parenting journey. My sons taught me that not every student fits the traditional mould, and that understanding drives my commitment to creating diverse, meaningful pathways for every learner.
My Christian faith is central to who I am and underpins the way I lead, serve, and connect with others. I am continually encouraged by the truth that each student is uniquely created by God, with unique value and God-given potential. It is a genuine joy to come to Parklands each day; the staff and students I work alongside make it a place of warmth, encouragement, and shared commitment.
My heart is to see every student know God and to finish school well - with confidence, purpose, and a sense of direction. Each young person is fearfully and wonderfully made, and every pathway is significant. It is a privilege to support students as they discover their strengths, build resilience, and step into the future with faith and hope.
Colin Elvery
I am honoured to have served the Parklands Christian College community since 2005, growing as a Christian educator alongside the growth of an amazing school. In 26 years of teaching, I have taught in both the state and independent education system and have taught every age group from prep through to year 12.
In my role as Head of Middle School, I seek to be a patient and relational leader. Jesus taught us that leadership is about serving others. I have both Bachelor and Master of Education degrees, and I am especially passionate about working with the Middle School age group – a time of high change and development in any child’s life. I have been married for 25 years and am the father of four children. Being a father reveals a new and exciting perspective into the life of nurturing a child. The role of a father forms a supportive anchor and guidance in times of strife.
This experience is something I take into my role at Parklands every day. Alongside my education vocation, I serve as an Elder and worship leader in my local church, allowing me to see the purpose in serving others and living out my Christian faith in such a way that others may be blessed. Every student is called by God to walk in His purposes. I am honoured to play any small part to help students find their calling.

I began as Head of Primary at Parklands Christian College in 2023, and it immediately felt like a place of genuine connection. The Parklands community is marked by an authentic culture of care, where students are known, families are valued, and staff support one another.
My days are centred on people. I love being in classrooms, connecting with students, engaging with families, and supporting staff. Being approachable and present matters, and it is a privilege to work with dedicated educators who love students and are committed to God. This shared heart shapes our Culture of Care.
We are committed to each child flourishing in all God has created them to be. Our mission guides us, as we nurture both hearts and minds. I desire for every student to grow in character, faith, and purpose, equipped to make a positive difference. I hold a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Leadership and Management and have served in teaching and leadership roles across several Christian colleges. These experiences have shaped my passion for meaningful learning and connected communities.
Outside of school, my husband and I enjoy time with our two adult children. Family is central to me, and I value fostering that same sense of connection at Parklands.
