From Year 3, Parklands Primary camps help students grow in confidence, resilience, and character.

Thrilling and Thriving in Three – Overnight sleepover at Parklands
Our first Year 3 camp gives students the chance to grow in independence, resilience, and compassion. Through fun activities—packing their own lunches, participating in team challenges, and enjoying an overnight stay at school—students learn to take responsibility for themselves while supporting and including others. The excursion to Summer Land Camel Farm provides a safe space to explore God’s creation, try new experiences, and practice courage and perseverance. Throughout the camp, students develop kindness, courage, gratitude, and respect, guiding them at school and beyond.
Forging Fab Friendships in Four – Camp Warrawee
Year 4 students’ first offsite camp builds friendships, courage, and teamwork through exciting activities such as canoeing, raft building, low ropes, the mega swing, and bouldering. Students practice Christian character by showing kindness, including others, and encouraging teammates, developing resilience, courage, and trust as they step outside their comfort zones. By caring for God’s creation and giving thanks for new experiences, students strengthen friendships, grow in confidence, and discover how their actions reflect Christ-like love, respect, and compassion.
Small Steps. Strong Leaders – Tunnel Ridge
At Year 5 camp, students take their first steps into leadership through outdoor adventures like canoeing, raft building, bush skills, and leatherwork. Students develop Christian character by practicing responsibility, courage, teamwork, and stewardship, taking small steps in challenges, supporting peers, and caring for God’s creation. Through shared challenges and successes, students grow as faithful leaders who serve others with confidence and respect, applying Christ-like values at school and beyond.
Rising Leaders - Canberra
The Year 6 Canberra Trip provides students with the opportunity to explore our nation’s history, government, and culture, while preparing for secondary school. Throughout the trip, students practice Christian character by acting with integrity, showing respect, taking responsibility, and serving others. Visits to Parliament House, memorials, and museums encourage reflection on leadership, service, gratitude, and stewardship. Through history, culture, and shared experiences, students learn to lead with compassion and apply Christ-like values in both school life and the wider community.

Sport in Primary is an extension of our commitment to seeing every child flourish in all that God has created them to be.
Students build confidence, develop skills and learn teamwork, perseverance and sportsmanship through a wide range of opportunities. From carnivals to competitions, each experience nurtures both ability and character in a supportive environment.
Our after-school sports and monthly family mountain bike rides also offer fun ways to stay active and connected.
