Learning to Flourish

Clear expectations. Confident learners.

At Parklands Primary, we believe behaviour education is about shaping hearts, building character and helping each child flourish as the person God has created them to be.

We intentionally teach students how to take responsibility for their choices, repair relationships and contribute positively to their community.

Through clear expectations, consistent guidance and strong partnership with families, we create classrooms where every child can feel safe, respected and ready to learn.

Our Responsible Thinking Process supports students to reflect, reset and grow. It is not about punishment, but about learning, restoration and personal responsibility.

Growing Leaders with Purpose

Opportunities to grow, serve and lead.

At Parklands Primary, we believe leadership is about courage, character and a willingness to serve others. Grounded in our Christian faith, we encourage students to lead with integrity, kindness and confidence.

From the early years through to Year 6, students are given meaningful opportunities to grow as leaders — in their classrooms, through service initiatives and formal leadership roles.
Along the way, they learn to communicate clearly, collaborate respectfully and make wise, responsible choices.

These foundations shape more than capable students — they develop young people who are learning to influence their world in ways that honour God and positively impact others.

Wellbeing Drives Success

A supportive environment where students can flourish. At Parklands Primary, we know children learn best when they feel safe, supported and truly known.

Wellbeing is not an add-on - it is the foundation for confident learning and healthy growth. Grounded in our Christian faith, we believe every child is uniquely created and deeply valued. We intentionally teach resilience, emotional regulation and positive relationship skills, equipping students to navigate challenges with confidence and character.

Working closely with teachers and families, our social workers provide proactive, compassionate support to ensure every child is cared for and has the opportunity to thrive.

Growing in Faith

Discovering God. Growing Together.

At Parklands Primary, chapel and daily devotions help students grow in faith, character, and community. Each week, our chapels bring the whole Primary school together to celebrate God’s love, explore Bible stories, and reflect on values that guide daily life.

In the classroom, daily devotions encourage students to pause, pray, and consider how they can live with kindness, courage, and integrity. Our committed Christian staff model Christlike character every day, guiding and inspiring children as they flourish in all areas of life.

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
