Well-being

Well-being Drives Success

At Parklands Primary, we know children learn best when they feel safe, supported and truly known. Wellbeing is not an add-on — it is the foundation for confident learning and healthy growth.

Grounded in our Christian faith, we believe every child is uniquely created and deeply valued.

We intentionally teach resilience, emotional regulation and positive relationship skills, equipping students to navigate challenges with confidence and character.

Working closely with teachers and families, our social workers provide proactive, compassionate

Providing a supportive environment where students can flourish.

Wellbeing isn’t a single moment or outcome—it’s a continual sense of wholeness and hope that underpins learning, health, and the way we move through life. It reflects the way our emotional, physical, mental, social, and spiritual lives are woven together, each influencing the other in meaningful ways.

These aspects can’t really be separated; they work together as part of a whole. Supporting wellbeing means paying attention to each of these areas, recognising that true growth happens when they are all nurtured together.

At its heart, wellbeing is about caring for yourself, showing care to others, and contributing to a community where people feel valued and connected.
