Known. Challenged. Supported.
Every student is known and encouraged to grow in confidence, resilience, and character within a supportive Christian community.
Character Development: Growing in strength, integrity, and purpose
At Parklands, character is shaped every day - in the classroom, on the oval, and in every interaction in between. We believe education should form the whole person: heart, mind, and spirit.
Our students are known and challenged by staff who genuinely care, supported to discover their strengths, develop resilience, and grow into young people of integrity and purpose.
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." Proverbs 16:3
Spiritual Formation: Faith that shapes the journey
Faith is woven into the everyday life of Parklands, not as an add-on, but as the very heartbeat of our community. Through Chapel, Christian Life Skills, service, and classroom conversations, students are encouraged to explore what it means to live with purpose, integrity, and compassion.
- Chapel: Each week, senior students gather to worship, pray, and hear from God's Word. Students are warmly invited to help lead worship, and these gatherings are one of the most cherished rhythms of school life.
- Christian Life Skills (CLS): A weekly dedicated space to explore faith, ask big questions, and go deeper into Scripture - through student-selected topics and more focused times of faith formation.
- Service: Service is one of the clearest ways we live out our faith, woven throughout both curricular and extra-curricular life. In Year 10, all students complete a Certificate II in Active Volunteering, discovering firsthand that when we serve, both the giver and receiver are blessed.
"Let your light shine before others." Matthew 5:16
