PCC@Home Tech FAQ

You may experience a 404 error when selecting the Primary or Secondary Directories.

This happens when you are logged into a non Parklands Google account. eg. a personal Gmail account.
Here are instructions on how to fix this on multiple devices.

We recommend you use up to date versions of either Chrome or Firefox.*

There are a number of options, choose your preferred option.

Option 1 – Open in Incognito or Private Window

Chrome – Open a New Incognito Window and try to access again within this Window.

Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner of the window, then click on New Incognito Window. (Shortcut Ctrl+Shift+N)

Firefox – Open a New Incognito Window and try to access again within this Window.

Click on the 3 lines on the toolbar in the top right of the window, then click on New Private Window. (Shortcut Ctrl+Shift+P)

Once in a new Incognito or Private Window, go to parklands.qld.edu.au then Click on PCC@Home, then Learning.

Option 2 – Sign out of all Google Accounts

Go to https://accounts.google.com

Your Google account information will be displayed in front of you. In the top right corner you should see your profile image, tap on this. Then Tap “Sign out of all accounts”.

Now try to access the Primary or Secondary Directories. You should now be prompted to login with your Parklands email address and password.

* Google Hangouts Meet will not work with Internet Explorer, Edge or Safari.

We recommend the use of Safari or Google Chrome.

The following instructions are for Safari only.

Option 1 – Open in Private window.

Open Safari then on the toolbar at the bottom, tap on the double squares.

Tap on the Private button.

You will now be in Private Browsing Mode

Tap the + to open a new tab. Enter parklands.qld.edu.au into the address bar.

You should now be able to access the directories through the Parklands website.

Option 2 – Sign out of all Google Accounts.

Go to https://accounts.google.com

Tap on your icon/thumbnail at the top right of the page

Tap on Sign out of all accounts.

Option 3 – Clear all browsing data.

Tap on Settings

Scroll down and tap on to Safari. (On iPad, use the menu on the left)

Then within the Safari menu item, scroll down and tap on “Clear History and Website Data”

You’ll be prompted with options, tap on “Clear History and Data”
